The Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) many be the most widespread, misunderstood and potentially dangerous epidemic that most people hardly know anything about. Eighty percent of all people under 50 years of age will have a strain of the virus at some point in their lives and most will not even realize they have it. Cervical cancer is almost exclusively caused by HPV and it is the 2nd leading cancer in women. Worldwide, cervical cancer kills over 250,000 women every year.
During this movie, you will meet five unforgettable women whose lives have been interrupted and changed forever by this deadly virus.

The Lancaster County Immunization Coalition has received a $10,000 award from the CHI St. Joseph Children’s Health organization to promote childhood immunizations! We look forward to working with CHI St. Joseph Children’s Health and Lancaster County community organizations to educate parents and students about recommended immunizations, and the importance of keeping all immunizations up-to-date!
