HPV is the most common sexually transmitted infection in the United States. Approximately 20 million Americans are infected with HPV. About 6.2 million more will become infected with genital HPV this year. Nearly all cervical cancers are related to HPV.

Join the Pennsylvania Immunization Coalition for our quarterly meeting on September 22, 2010. This meeting will feature Dr. Sharon Cowden from the Pennsylvania American Academy of Pediatrics' Immunization Education Program who will be providing an update on recent changes in immunization recommendations. CME's & CEU's will be offered.
The meeting will also feature an update from the Pennsylvania Department of Health, as well as projects, membership/nominating, and resource workgroup meetings.
The meeting will be held at the 4 Points Sheraton in Greensburg, PA from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. We have a block of overnight guest rooms available at a rate of $69/night for people who wants to stay overnight on September 21st. Please note: You must make your reservation no later than August 31st to obtain a room at the group rate.
