Volunteer as an Immunization Champion

PAIC is always looking for local immunization champions willing to volunteer their time whether you are a medical provider, an educator, and/or a parent. There are several opportunities available to assist with education and outreach, administrative tasks, and events.

What will an Immunization Champion do?
An Immunization Champion volunteers their time to help distribute accurate and timely routine lifespan immunization information, including COVID-19 vaccine information. Immunization Champions do this by sharing the Pennsylvania Immunization Coalition (PAIC) social media content, email updates, PAIC developed trainings and videos, factsheets and toolkits, and other updates with your friends, family, neighbors, peer, and social networks. Immunization Champions can also volunteer their time to table at vaccine education events and pop-up immunization clinics!

Who are we looking for?
Individuals including family members, parents and teen advocates who are passionate about keeping their community and loved ones safe and healthy against vaccine preventable diseases (VPDs) in their community in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

What is the time commitment of an Immunization Champion?
We need Immunization Champions to dedicate 30 minutes to an hour a week, at minimum, who will re-post and share PAIC updates, social media posts, factsheets and toolkits, tune-in and share FB Lives or other immunization focused webinars with their online or in person network.
