3.3 Million More Americans Get Their COVID Boosters, CDC Says
October 13, 2022 – Nearly 3.3 million people in the United States received updated COVID-19 booster shots over the past week, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said on Thursday.
The CDC said 14.8 million Americans had received the shot as of October 12, in the first six weeks of the booster being available, just 6.9% of the people ages 12 or older who are eligible for the vaccine.
