Mission:
The mission of the Berks Immunization Coalition is to promote and educate about recommended immunizations for all Berks County residents across the lifespan to ensure that no one in the county should suffer from a vaccine-preventable disease.
Objectives:
This is a coalition comprised of local physicians, nurse practitioners, school nurses, immunization coordinators, immunization advocates, and pharmaceutical representatives working to achieve the following objectives:
– Promote and ensure access to immunizations throughout the lifespan.
– Educate the community and the providers.
– Endorse 2030 Healthy People National Objectives for Immunizations.

Recent Campaigns:
The coalition worked with Vector Media to provide marketing on the buses and bus shelters throughout the County. We have focused this campaign on the importance of getting vaccinated in honor of National Immunization Awareness Month. This campaign ran throughout August. Below are the designs that are featured. The graphics provide a QR code to access resources through our website, ImmunizePA.org. Find these ads in areas like 5th and Spring St., Perkiomen Ave. and 19th St., 9th and Penn St., and at the Fairgrounds Mall in Berks County.
Recent Events:
Rain or shine, we are representing our immunization coalition! 
Shoutout to Peggy and Jenna for attending the Out in the Park event hosted by the LGBT Center of Greater Reading last Saturday!
Volunteer Opportunities:
One of the coalition goals is to increase community outreach, partner with different organizations, and educate vulnerable populations. We need the help of volunteers and coalition members to help make this happen!
