Children get long Covid, too, and it can show up in unexpected ways
CNN (May 6, 2022) – November 10 is a day Kim Ford remembers too well. It was the day last year when her 9-year-old son, Jack, was scheduled to get his Covid-19 vaccine at the school clinic. They were excited that he’d finally have some protection, but on November 9, he had the sniffles.
“When he woke up [November 10] and he was feeling even worse, I said, ‘You know what, let’s test you before you go in, because I don’t want you to get the Covid vaccine if you actually have Covid,’ ” the Michigan mom said.
