PatientEngagementHIT (8/24) reports, “As more COVID-19 vaccine boosters become available, public health messaging and patient outreach should focus on younger folks with lower incomes and lower educational attainment, according to a study published in JAMA Network Open.” These “data, collected by researchers from NYC Health + Hospitals using nearly 136,000 responses to the Household Pulse Survey, showed COVID-19 vaccine booster uptake was higher among older, more-educated individuals living in the Northeast,” as well as among “Asian people and males.”
